Consorzio Aquarno has always had a particular interest in developing innovative solutions liable to improve the wastewater process or able to limit the production of waste such as excess sludge.
Over the past years, Consorzio Aquarno has participated to many research projects both directly or as consultant and stakeholder. The target of continuous improvement has stimulated many experimental activities that have always supported the ordinary ones, which have inevitably been influenced by experiments and their results. All plant optimizations and process modifications made on WWTP in Santa Croce Sull'Arno, are the main outcomes of several intense research activities pursued over years by Consorzio Aquarno, also with the collaboration of high qualified partners as Universities, Research Centers and Certified Laboratories.
